What celeb do you think is the sweetest in his or her interview?

Good answers please…..

I love celebs that are not well known because they have the best personalities and are very humble. Someone you should check out is Michelle Williams of Destiny’s Child. I met her once, she is such a sweet lady. she touched my heart.

Also, she is playing Roxie Heart in the Musical Chicago, on broadway!

Designers:
Oscar de la Renta (jackie Kennedy)
John Galliano
Pierre Cardin
Yves Saint Laurent
Pucci
They all designed for the stars like Debbie Reynolds, Eliz. Taylor, Doris Day, etc.

Where was the National Gallery of Victoria originally located in 1861?

Roy Grounds designed it in 1959 and construction began in 1961. So was the original 1861 gallery elsewhere? Or did Grounds’ building replace it on the same site?

Same street, different buildings.

What are some funny saying for freshman tshirts?

Im trying to make a freshman t-shirt, and I want a funny quote to put on it.
Something making fun of seniors maybe?
Thanks!

Are these for kids who are now freshmen or ones who will be freshmen in the fall? If it’s for the former, how about "Class of 2013–first to graduate after the world ends"?

How do you put photographs into my computer?

Posted by admin on February 7th, 2010 and filed under photographs | 3 Comments »

I have alot of photographs that I want to put into my computer and i dont know how to do it.

You can use a scanner if your talking about photos you’ve gotten developed or if you have a digital camera theres usually a plug that comes with it to transfer them from the camera to the pc another way if you have sd port or mini sd port you can take the card out of your camera and put that in your computer only way to get developed pics in is to scan them in.

Pictures taken with my digital camera cannot be viewed with Photo Gallery, forced to use Picasa.?

What can be done to convert these pictures and future pictures from that camera so that they can be viewed with photo gallery?

right click on any one of your files and click on "properties" Then you’ll see the file type and "opens with," click the change button, select Photo gallery and click OK in both windows.

Dr. Phil….I’m so sick of him

How do I rotate my photos without lowering the quality of my photos?

Posted by admin on February 7th, 2010 and filed under photos | 3 Comments »

When rotating my digital photos I get a command prompt saying that my photo will be permanetly resized and may lower the quality of my picture.

There are several utilities available for multiple platforms that allow "lossless jpeg rotation"… a program like Picasa or ACDsee can handle this task quite nicely.

The only other way to preserve the exact original quality is if you have access to the original RAW image file (or other uncompressed original, such as .TIF) from the camera. Many digital SLR cameras allow this, and some point-and-shoot cameras do, as well. With such a file, you can rotate and perform other actions to the photo in its uncompressed state. So when you save it as a .jpg, it’s the first time it’s being compressed.

Otherwise, simply re-saving a .jpg to an uncompressed format like TIF before rotating will just render the original jpeg artifacts in the .TIF file. In other words, saving a .jpg as a .TIF doesn’t clean it of its "jpegginess". And you still have to save out to .jpg again anyway, so saving to an uncompressed format is a nonsensical extra step that gains you nothing.

So I’d say use Picasa or ACDsee if all you have is .jpgs. If you have access to uncompressed originals, rotate and edit away! You’ll end up with just one compression pass, in your final save-out to .jpg.

Why are my images distorted in Irfanview but the previews work fine?

Posted by admin on February 7th, 2010 and filed under images | 1 Comment »

I downloaded some images off the internet, and some of them look extremely distorted in Irfanview or any other program I try them in. Usually I would think it’s a bad image, but in the previews I get in Windows they look perfectly fine. Why is this?

Don’t know. You could try opening them with Paint then converting them to another format like .bmp and see if the problem remains. Then try converting them to .jpg.
