I am a huge photography girl! I am wanting to sell some of my pictures online for some extra cash and to try and get my name out there. However, I don’t want to have to pay to have them posted, because I am somewhat afraid that no one will like my work.
Can someone answer this for me? I have researched and tried to find a free online gallery and I have not been successful.

I am a school teacher and so the cameras are in constant use recording pupils and their work. The video clips and photographs are then stored on one laptop. Is there a way to collate the photograph and video file names into a list which I can update regularly?
I have a program called ACDSee 32, its a mainly a picture viewer program, its default settings are similar to when you open Windows Explorer to manage your files, only there’s a preview window that shows the image of the currently highlighted picture file. So you can look at pics without having to open an art program. Non-picture files like videos, PDFs, Word Files, etc. can still be seen on the list, and you can set up shell commands in the ACDSee program so that it will open the appropriate program (Windows Media Player, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word, etc.) and the file, just like it would when using Windows Explorer.
The key thing is IT HAS THE FEATURE YOUR LOOKING FOR.
There is a command on its "Tools" menu tab called "Generate File Listing" that will create a list of the names for all the files and subfolders in the current active folder. It will automatically open a new window with Notepad (the basic accessory program that comes with Windows) and generate the list. It’s based on the columns selected in ACDSee for "Details" view, so it can also list the file size, image properties, etc. along with the name. The file can be saved in Notepad as the basic ".txt" file or you can highlight it all copy it to the clipboard (CTRL+C) and then paste it in more advanced word processing programs like Wordpad or Microsoft Word to alter fonts, edit appearances, and save as more complex file types. The cool thing is that you don’t have to type anything (except for the name of the new text file for the list =P …or if you wanted to tweak things) and all you have to do in order to update your list of files is go into the folder again the next time you use ACDSee and hit CTRL+G (that’s the short cut "hotkey") to generate a new list with all the new file names and data… *POOF!* an updated list.
There’s a slight drawback… the program is pretty old (about 6 years or so) and I don’t know if the current versions still have this ability. I now it will work on Windows XP Home Edition, but I don’t know if it will work on any of the newer versions of Windows. You could check out the free trial software here:

I haven’t checked out the trial program, because 1) I like the old version I have (I’m use to it) and 2) I got too much stuff on my computer to add another program.
You might be able to get a hold of a free copy of the same (old) ACDSee 32 that I have through another file sharing sight. I haven’t decided to enable email contact through Yahoo Answers, right now I just don’t like giving out my email. If the new trial version for ACDSee 9 doesn’t have the "Generate List" feature and you can’t get a copy of ACDSee 32 (or find a different program) after a month or so… drop a note for me on this question using the "Add Comments" option and (if your comfortable with it) put your email down. I’ll dig up the disk that has the program on it and see if I can make a working copy that will extract from a WinRAR file, then email it to you.
I am running Windows XP and not interested in upgrading to Vista at this time. However, I am trying to find a program similar to Vista’s Photo Gallery. Where I can tag pictures that are on my PC so that I can easily find certain photos. I need a low cost alternative. Thanks!
Picasa2 allows you to star photos and also has some basic editting tools as well. http://picasa.google.com/download/ Its from Google and its free. It will also read the RAW files from many cameras.
Many times the software that comes with cameras has image sorting software bundled with it. Kodak has the EasyShare Gallery and Canon has ZoomBrowser, other companies have software as well. If you have a camera that came with a disk you may look into it.
You see these celebrities with dark hair get their hair lighten and it looks great. What are professional hair stylists doing to have it look like this?

I’d love to hear from anyone who sells their photos this way. Which websites do you recommend and why? How much money do you make? Are there any sites that allow you to negotiate prices for commercial use licenses of your photos? Any thing else you can think of that may be helpful to me?

As of right now I can’t get my computer to display any bitmap image as a wallpaper on my computer. I can only get it to display JPEG images as my wallpaper. I have run registry repair pro and it still did not fix this problem. Thanks.
Please Note: I can get my computer to preview all types of image formats its just that I can’t get it to display bitmap images as my wallpaper.
Open the picture up in paint, click Save As…, then click where it says Format, and click JPEG, and Save! Tada!

So Paris Hilton was let out of jail after only serving a 5 day sentance instead of her 23 (already reduced from 40). Supposingly she had some "medical problem". So now she gets to serve the rest of her time confined to her home. Which I am sure is not that bad. Why do celebs get this treatment and do you think it is fair?
it aint right its flat wrong! it shows that money and fame make people above the Law. really it is only in LA Calif where you can buy your way out of trouble. But, think of this, celebrity status generates a large part of livelyhood to this region and so maybe in a way the local govt in calif let these things slide because the city gets money in the long run. that is to say thru movies the celebs make and the tourism that follows means more for the local economy
