We are putting on a gallery for my digital photography class and I was wondering what the best specifications would be to get the highest quality image. As far as printing goes, we’re using a decent xerox color printer.
I’m assuming convert the rgb to cmyk in PS
Also saving them as tiffs at the max resolution
but any other things to watch out for?

Crop to the desired print size in Photoshop. If you are printing on photo paper (rather than regular printer paper or something), use at least 300 DPI for your resolution (type 300 in the "resolution" box when setting up your crop dimensions).
No need to change to CMYK. It won’t do anything unless you know how to work with that color profile.
My friend has lost her Deviantart account (she believes it’s been hacked), and she wants to recover some of her drawings she put on there, seeing as she can’t access her account without going through a whole heap of complicated crap.
Is it possible to still view deviations and/or a gallery on someone’s Deviantart account after they’ve deactivated it? Someone told me it was very possible, but they weren’t specific and they didn’t give me details.
Any help or advice would be appreciated.

All of your journals and blog posts are deleted.
All of your news articles submissions are deleted.

Not very. An Associates degree in Gallery Management is one of those degrees that one would pursue for the love of art and probably not for the money. I think your best bet would be to visit local art galleries and ask the owners/managers how they got there. People love to talk about themselves, so it shouldn’t be too difficult to get them to open up.
Those galleries are in business to make money. I don’t think you could go wrong with a business degree.
I need to show some photos to some people, but I don’t want them to copy the photos out of my usb flash drive. I need a way to lock them up but it has to allow people to able to view the photos. I need it because I won’t be there at the viewing, if I could be there, I could just hold on to my usb the whole time, but I can’t, so I need a way to lock them up. Thanks!

I helping a charity with their website, just updating the information on it at the moment and they have a pretty nice gallery, however on all the Gallery pages it always has links to the next page and to the individual pages too, so a link to page 1, 2 etc. Is there a way of creating a gallery that automatically adjusts to the correct number of pages and displays so many images on each page?

I want to remove Windows Live from my desktop. But I am concerned that I might lose my pictures that appear in Windows Live Photo Gallery? Is there any problem with removing all the "Live components" from my PC through "add/remove programs? I just don’t use any aspect of the Windows Live application so I want to get it off the system. I am pretty sure that windows photo gallery is just that- a photo gallery. It displays the photos- does not store them. You should be safe.

Hi,
I’m making a website for my company, and have a collection of images that change when you mouse over them (very old hat for any programmers out there) However, I’ve gotten stuck at a point after that. How do I have a second image (a grid image) overlaid or underlaid across these other images? If it changes anything, I’m using wordpress.

A lot of people have been using this new photo editor where you are on a webcam and it makes you have a really big head and does really weird and funny things to you. I just got a new laptop today and I’m unsure if this is on here. What is it called? Can I install it?

There are billions of different types of programs for photo editing. Some that I would recommend is Photoshop Elements and Photoshop CS4
