I am completely bilingual in Japanese and English. My dream job is to work with bands and celebrities who travel to Japan for business. I want to be their personal translator. How can I start up my own freelancing business? I have professional translating experience and experience working in venues. Should I get a degree in translating? Any advice?

Find out who’s coming on tour to Japan, call the promotions and tour managers and offer your services free for about a year while you gain contacts and experience. Maybe later you can start charging. If you don’t live in Japan and expect them to take you along, forget it. Most everyone in that industry speaks English anyway so you’d just be more dead weight on the ride.

What are some websites and some fun online things, that’s i can learn about celebrities, movie stars, fashion, modeling, etc?
And some funny topics?

Try reading! Go to your local library and get on the computer there. Search some sites about people you are interested in. Then see if the library has any books about those people. Check them out and read them. Librarys still have knowledge. Try true crime! You might love it.

I’m doing a story on internet celebrities and I’m looking for a list of good questions to ask to internet celebrities. I’m focusing on how they became famous. What did they do? I just heard that Steve McNair died. I mean just within the last month Carradine, Michael Jackson, Billy Mays, Ed Mcman, Farrah Fawcett have all died. I mean its pretty crazy and weird. Maybe its all just coincidence but who knows. I know many people die everyday but this is a bit different since its a bunch of celebrities. How many more celebrities do you think will die within the next month? Hopefully none.

Lady Gaga for example. Ordinary people don’t look like her. People who conform to society dress like normal people. She is a celebrity, more than likely a liberal one, since she dresses very absurdly, odd, and strange. Do they think they live in another world with how they way they dress and act? I don’t quite understand why someone would purposely want to make themselves stand out like a sore thumb. Her and other celebrities like her are just really weird and strange.

You know on youtube random people are interviewing celebrities who are not even famous. How do they get back there and how are they allowed to?

I guess it matters on the band but they normally hang out before and after the show so just keep an eye out for them. Go up and talk to them and ask for an interview or whatever but wait till after most of the fans around them have cleared out cause otherwise you won’t have enough time. Personally I think if you have some questions to ask them it would be better to just do in like a conversations cause they might not want to start doing an interview.

My high school is going to the Fringe Festival in Scotland next year and we need help raising money to make it. We were chosen to present a show there but we have a hard task ahead. Is there a website I can go to find people who will be willing to help and emails perhaps for celebrities?

In my opinion each actor or actress should cut 10% of her salary to some kind of foundation call "askcelebmoney".This foundation will assists all incoming email from around the world and be able to deal with the each and everyone fan.This is because us fans are spending dollars too for watching their movies so we the people should get some kind of percentage cut for watching movies.
