Add Dramatic Color to Photographs: Photoshop Tutorial!

Posted by admin on June 10th, 2010 and filed under photographs | 25 Comments »

This is a tutorial that should really help some of you photographers out there. We will start with a base RAW file from an 8 megapixel low-end Canon digital camera and we will open it with Photoshop and use the Camera Raw editor to make these changes. Learn all about using the Camera RAW editor and what the different sliders do and why/how you can use them to create really bold effects to your photographs.

Using Photographs to Enhance Videos of a Static Scene

Posted by admin on May 29th, 2010 and filed under photographs | 25 Comments »

The work presents a system for automatically producing a wide variety of video enhancements and visual effects. Unlike traditional visual effects software (e.g., After Effects, Shake, Boujou, etc), the system is completely automatic and no manual labor is required from the user. The major limitation of the work is that it can currently handle only videos of static scenes (i.e., videos shot with a moving camera but containing no moving objects in the scene). Efforts are being made to lift this restriction in future work.

Applications of the system include:
High resolution/definition video,
High dynamic range video,
Removing objects from a video,
Creating painterly (NPR) videos,
Video stabilization,
Easy video editing

LYRICS:
Heres a little story I gotta tell
‘Bout this boy I know so well
Back in the day was cool and all
He fell in love I fell in love
I thought he was the one for me
Other boys I could not see
and look what happened to our love
I’m like how could it be

It shoulda been me and you
It coulda been you and me
But boy you broke my heart
and now I’m standing there
It shoulda been me and you
It coulda been you and me

Now all I got are these photographs
All I’ve got
All I’ve got
All I’ve got
are these photographs
All I’ve got
All I’ve got

Its nothing without you, you, you
Got nothing without you, you, you
Got nothing without you

Now baby its killing me
I’m saying its killing me
The fact that you aint around
Baby, I’m falling down
I need me a remedy
Been looking for remedys
I need you to be around
Baby I’m hurting now
I know you’re a better man (when I was your girl)
This land is a better land (when you’re in my world)

Today will be better, babe
?? went out yesterday, so happy and lovely
Hey, hey, hey

All I’ve got
All I’ve got
All I’ve got
are these photographs
All I’ve got
All I’ve got

Its nothing without you, you, you
Got nothing without you, you, you
Got nothing without you

All I’ve got are these photographs
I remember when I used to make you laugh
I don’t wanna be stuck in the past
But you’re all that I have that I had
And I don’t wanna lose what we’ve felt this far
This is me and you, you’re my superstar
I’ll give anything baby, heres my heart
My heart..my heart

(Will.I.am verses)
My heart don’t stop
My heart be beating over
My loving never stops
Even though that it’s over
Girl I been reminiscing
With that way that casanova
We back when we was kissing on your grandmama’s sofa
Girl I got us luvvydubby on my photo album
I got them pictures back when I was rocking Calvin Kleine
You had your best jeans on
Looking sexy on home (???)
Girl why couldn’t I be the one?

Why, why, why
Why couldn’t I be the one?
(why,why,why)
Why couldn’t you be the one?
(why,why,why)
Why couldn’t you be the one?
(why,why,why)

All I’ve got
All I’ve got
Its nothing without you
All I’ve got
All I’ve got
Its nothing without you, you, you
Its nothing without you, you, you
Its nothing without you
All I’ve got
Its nothing without
All I’ve got
Its nothing without
All I’ve got
All I’ve got are these photographs

High Tech Photographs Of Fetal Development / Pro-life Anti-Abortion Video

Posted by admin on May 3rd, 2010 and filed under photographs | 25 Comments »

The Unborn Baby – High Tech Photographs / Pro-life Anti-Abortion Video. Photos courtesy of Priests For Life. Pachabel’s Cannon music from the Music Bakery. Video from rosaryfilms of Secret of the Rosary.

Development of the Unborn Baby. Fetal Development; From conception to birth; Day 1: fertilization: all human chromosomes are present; unique human life begins. Day 6: embryo begins implantation in the uterus. Day 22: heart begins to beat with the child’s own blood, often a different type than the mothers’. Week 3: By the end of third week the child’s backbone spinal column and nervous system are forming. The liver, kidneys and intestines begin to take shape. Week 4: By the end of week four the child is ten thousand times larger than the fertilized egg. Week 5: Eyes, legs, and hands begin to develop. Week 6: Brain waves are detectable; mouth and lips are present; fingernails are forming. Week 7: Eyelids, and toes form, nose distinct. The baby is kicking and swimming. Week 8: Every organ is in place, bones begin to replace cartilage, and fingerprints begin to form. By the 8th week the baby can begin to hear. Weeks 9 and 10: Teeth begin to form, fingernails develop. The baby can turn his head, and frown. The baby can hiccup. Weeks 10 and 11: The baby can “breathe” amniotic fluid and urinate. Week 11 the baby can grasp objects placed in its hand; all organ systems are functioning. The baby has a skeletal structure, nerves, and circulation. Week 12: The baby has all of the parts necessary to experience pain, including nerves, spinal cord, and thalamus. Vocal cords are complete. The baby can suck its thumb. Week 14: At this age, the heart pumps several quarts of blood through the body every day. Week 15: The baby has an adult’s taste buds. Month 4: Bone Marrow is now beginning to form. The heart is pumping 25 quarts of blood a day. By the end of month 4 the baby will be 8-10 inches in length and will weigh up to half a pound. Week 17: The baby can have dream (REM) sleep. Week 19: Babies can routinely be saved at 21 to 22 weeks after fertilization, and sometimes they can be saved even younger. Week 20: The earliest stage at which Partial birth abortions are performed. At 20 weeks the baby recognizes its’ mothers voice. Months 5 and 6: The baby practices breathing by inhaling amniotic fluid into its developing lungs. The baby will grasp at the umbilical cord when it feels it. Most mothers feel an increase in movement, kicking, and hiccups from the baby. Oil and sweat glands are now functioning. The baby is now twelve inches long or more, and weighs up to one and a half pounds. Months 7 through 9: Eyeteeth are present. The baby opens and closes his eyes. The baby is using four of the five senses (vision, hearing, taste, and touch.) He knows the difference between waking and sleeping, and can relate to the moods of the mother. The baby’s skin begins to thicken, and a layer of fat is produced and stored beneath the skin. Antibodies are built up, and the baby’s heart begins to pump 300 gallons of blood per day. Approximately one week before the birth the baby stops growing, and “drops” usually head down into the pelvic cavity.
