Bob, a baby Eastern Screech Owl was raised in our Miami Shores backyard mango tree by his doting parents. Once Bob was discovered by my children in the tree, we documented his every move for the almost 2 weeks he appeared in the tree hole screeching for his supper. He reached nearly the 500 fan mark on his Facebook Fan Page and viewers were tuning in to see him live-streaming on the Internet. But then one night, he was gone. I think Bob or one …
I think Bob or one of his relatives flew to my home in Bay Harbor! I hear him every night in my backyard… didn’t know what it was at first and many suggested a screech owl. It howls throughout the night, very relaxing sound. Too bad I can’t see him since it’s so dark.
