What would happen if a celeb didn’t accept any money for an endorsement?

Suppose I was a gorgeous actress or singer or talented athlete or something. I was offered a multi-million dollar endorsement for a beauty or sports product and I had to do commercials, appear in magazines, etc. What would happen if I did all those things, but I changed the amount in the contract to zero dollars. Would the other party agree to that? Or would I need to accept the money?

Im sure they would be more than happy to have you do all those things for them for free.

If you changed the amount in the contract you would have breached the contract. However since the other party benefited from your breach they would never bring suit against you.
