reality bites. fantasy rules.
besides, conforming to what society thinks is ‘normal’ or ‘proper’ is boring. not to mention that it doesn’t sell records. if you don’t like it, just. don’t. watch.

Lady Gaga dresses and acts the way she does, because she’s a brillant bussiness woman, same as Marilyn Manson.

Sure they need talent to make money and get you to but their CD’s, but once they become huge, they need an edge to compete against the other artists. So Lady Gaga went for the outlandish style. She’s dresses like a freak and it gets people to talk about her. That lands her more interviews, more tv time, and gets more of her CD’s sold. This strategy also gets more people into her concerts, just to see what she’ll do next.

It has nothing to do with her politics, but everything to do with making money. Normal people don’t get the attention and acclaim that she does. Normal people sit at home and write questions on YA! about her. I don’t like her music, but I’ve heard of her, because she’s on TV all the time in some weird get up and people just can’t stop talking about her. Being different equals money. She knows that and does it very well.

Most live in a Fantasyland created by FREE ENTERPRISE!!! What's to piss and moan about since they have made their millions doing what they wanted?
