Most were under 18, but a few were over. A few I remember from television appearances (ross interviewed izzard once and both said they lost theirs at 21). Charles Bukowski famously wrote that he lost his at 24 to “a 300 pound whore”.
Late response but … Late response but he’s Peter Gallagher. He played Sandy on The OC if you watched that show. The chick at 0:18 (Rachel Bilson) was also on it.
I was post-uni, but … I was post-uni, but I get your thinking. Im guessing most have done it by the time there 25, so maybe I should have raised the bar to people who were 25+. To be fair Hef was fighting the Germans when he was 18-23, so that would probably up your social life a bit. Some of these people will have waited for marriage I guess. I think we just always assume that celebrities were in the popular crowd. Some of them were probably just geeky or ugly or weird teenagers.
for americans … for americans anyway, i dont think 18-22 is unreasonable because alot get laid for the first time at uni. But alot of those people are old, and so maybe thats why they lost it later. i mean hugh hefner is like a dinosaur :p
