I’m talking to someone I already know, so asking them stuff about themselves is out. I need something that is really funny and random, that’s just so out there(but not perverted or relating to drugs) that it either instantly or very quickly breaks the ice.
I don’t want suggestions saying I compliment her, or compliment the weather, or talk about some cliche topic.
Please answer! Thanks!
Interesting. The only thing I have against the card tricks is that it looks just a little bit planned when you pull them out.
try what’s crappening?

I learned magic (card tricks, not that woo woo crap)
I would ask the girl what her favorite animal was, then make her a balloon animal.
Card tricks, coin tricks, there are many things with which you can do magic.
Believe me, it gives you something to talk about and was what got me over my shyness.

Just walk up to her and say… "so, when was the last time you watched reading rainbow?"

Show her you have a back bone and your in charge. I don’t know how old you are but if your young you can say you like to ride your bike there.
Or, I noticed your in good shape. You must work out, do you like to run? I go to the park every Friday, maybe you can join me there sometime.

You: Hello! How are you?
Them: Good, you?
You: Great!
You: Have you tried the new Tim Hortans/Starbucks latte?
Them: Yes, isn’t it great!
You: I know!

Them: No.
You: You should really go try it, it’s really good, (or, it’s not that great.)

Have they ever laughed and snorted so hard that the almost choked?
Have they ever had the urge to just pet a stranger?
Did they ever try to yell at an in-atoment objects, like oh, for a random example off the top of our head, a ceiling fan?
Does it offend them when people begin tail-gating them to see the movie their children are watching?

It depends what kind of person you want them to think of you as. I either whistle until someone recognizes the tune or spew random factoids of trivia until it shifts into a conversation.
