Instead moving … Instead moving icons you should just right click on desktop>Arrange Icons and uncheck show desktop icons. That would hide all icons and not make a mess. You can also capture any error message and write your own with TAHOMA font, and paste it to fake desktop. Just check the size of window and text so it matches the real error window. That causes panic attacks, especially if you do it at school, office… I do this prank for 8 years
