Wonderful upload … Wonderful upload This is one of my very favorites!! Did you know that Rod Serling was only five foot four inches? I never would have guessed that!!
told this story at … told this story at a camp fire just this weekend, some people started shivering as i told how the uncle started rising from the coffin and walking to the door lol
this was actually … this was actually quite good. one thing though, am I missing something or is there no ending? ok, actually two things. is this out of sync or is my pc acting up again?
This is *brilliant* … This is *brilliant* film making !
I SO wish things could be like they were. But, these days, TV is obsessed with the latest 14 year old idiot, so America doesn’t have to think too much…
I am surprised … I am surprised Serling didn’t pass away from lung cancer as he was a heavy smoker. Still i have agree that Serling died too young at age 50, he could of given us more if he was still alive. I wonder what he could of done if he was still alive.
My all time … My all time favorite Night Gallery episode!! Such a classic story, this is a rare case where a NG episode’s writing is as good as any Twilight Zone. I always loved the grainy color film in NG also.
Such a shame Serling died so young. You have to wonder what he would have come up with in the ’80s and later with the newer technology available. I really love these old gems…..
Yep, scared the … Yep, scared the crap outta me also as a young lad, and back then it was almost 20 years old, and scarier than most of the crap done for movies. Just a solid cast and a great story. No CGI or gore needed.
Ossie Davis isn’t … Ossie Davis isn’t that young here, Gluey! He was around 40! McDowall was badly, sinfully (Romans 1:21-27) gay in real life, call 1-888-264-0877 fora genuine homosexual cure!
Rod Serling’s (and bad McDowall’s) 1960’s Planet of the Apes film discussed in great new bio (Charlton Heston: An Incredible LIfe: Revised Edition)!
