What kind of images should be used to decorate the walls of a public pool complex?

If you were given the opportunity to decorate the walls of a public pool complex with WHATEVER YOU WANTED, what would you do? What kind of colors would you use? Would you use patterns or images?
The walls are made of wooden slats.

i would paint the wood a bright blue-aqua color with images of the beach like beach balls, umbrellas etc. in a bright oranga or yellow :)

I would paint them a beautiful color that enhances the adjacent building and sets off the pool. Then I would add a few huge ceramic pots with plants. Simple is better.
