this is what i want but every time i try to curl my hair and brush them out, they stay flat and thin. anyone know how to make them big and kinda bushy like hers?

thats the thing you dont brush it out! what you do is curl your whole hair and just run your fingers through your hair a bit and hair spray
for volume back come the crown area first and brush it smooth then curl it.
