I’m designing a website that will contain a simple gallery. The client wants to be able to update the website with photos on his own later so in order to make it really easy for him what would be a method of coding a gallery page that displays say every photo in a folder that is appropriately named in a sequence (01, 02, 03, etc) Can this be done in Flash? Javascript? Thanks so much in advance!
I have checked the above software mentioned, but i don’t like it as it is so limited in many features. I recommend the Wondershare Flash Gallery Factory.
With this software,your client will be able to update the slideshwo to website by himself. It doesn’t require any skills.
Besides the photos can be mamed in a sequence,you can also edit any words on it,add more effects.

I use Flash Gallery, it uses a combination of Flash and a PHP script to automatically display the photos in a folder on the server. Check it out here:http://www.flash-gallery.org/
If you name your files as per the following examples, it will display them in sequence:
01 house.jpg
02 my dog.jpg
03 holdays.jpg
What’s more, it’s free – or you can opt to buy the commercial version. Read the instructions on the website – you have to follow them exactly. If your web host doesn’t allow you to use PHP, there is a way to get it to work with images on a Flickr account.
