Which is the best package for uploading photographs?

.
Yahoo photos is closing down very soon. They have asked me if I would like to move my photographs.

Package options given are:

Flickr (Yahoo)
Photobucket
Kodak Gallery
Snapfish
Shutterfly

Which do you think is best??? What are the best points of each package and the main problems???

I have hundreds of photographs to upload and want to take the opportunity of putting them into sets or catalogues.

Hope you can advise me soon. The cut-off date is real soon.

Well I had mine moved over to flickr by yahoo and haven’t been able to share them since.

My 360 now says I have no photos and then throws me into my flicker photo’s, I have even added some since yahoo moved them and it won’t recognize them either.

I tried sending an invite from flickr to my friends and they can’t get into it, it tells them they need to log in with my login and password. So it’s all messed up.

Yahoo apparently knows that it is broken according to their blog webpage but as of now they haven’t figured out how to fix it.

With respect to the others, I haven’t tried them but my advise to you would be copy all of your pics back on to your pc before moving any of them just to be safe. Then choose a program and if you have the same problems flickr has then you have options to re-upload to a diff. program.

    Good Luck!

My sister is an editor for a major news company and does alot of photo sharing. I have also been sent photos from her and am impressed with the format.
    She uses Shutterfly.

I like using Flickr better, but if you need to share your photos with others, Shutterfly works well. You can allow access only to an "album" for one event, for instance, and this is a pain to do on Flickr. Flickr lets you upload pictures and keep them private. This is useful if you want to order some prints of shots that are really not meant for public viewing. Upload them, order your prints, and delete them after you have your prints in hand.

Flickr gives you your choice about "privacy and permissions" settings and you can allow only yourself, only people you invite or ANY Flickr member to order prints. Joining Flickr is free, so this should be no big deal. I have this set to "Only YOU" (ie: ME) can order prints, just because it gives me the illusion of security.

Anyone can see your photos on Flickr and they can see them at the highest resolution possible.

Check out my Flickr site and see what you can do or see, bearing in mind that I disallowed prints. Warning: The first photo is kind of gross…

If you want to put them in collections or sets then I would have to recommend Flickr.com. I just recently started uploading all my pictures to Flickr and so far I haven’t had any major problems.
